The Peaceful Mountains Eco Estate is nestled securely within a demarcated section of a private nature reserve in the Witteberg mountains. Only 4 hours from Johannesburg or 5 from Durban, the estate is within easy reach. Our guests for the wellness retreat and other programs will be resident here during their stay and treatment, but you can also buy a share in the estate and have exclusive use of your own plot where you can build a home and live in this secure, serene and pristine environment.
Plots can be purchased in the estate upon which you can build an off grid, efficient and eco friendly home and use the residence whenever you wish and benefit from the pristine natural environment and the amenities available.
These are available to all who are ready to abide by the rules of the estate which are aimed at maintaining a peaceful and healthy environment for mind, body and soul. The rules are also aimed at guarding the environment and not wasting earth's valuable resources.

OFF GRID & SUSTAINABLE
We believe that off grid living, where we use nature's resources efficiently and sutainably, should be the default option, not the alternative. All homes and buildings at the estate use solar power and future developments will use solar, wind and hydro at the estate. Homes and buildings are also being designed to maximise water efficiency and minimise wastage. Homes are also designed with efficient cooling and heating considerations that also enable local sourcing of fuel for burning during winter.
SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND
Estate living has become extremely popular due to the safety concerns that are growing daily in South Africa. But even the most secure estates are not immune from the threat of a large horde that can ravage even the best security systems and high walls.

It is also not too distant from nearby towns with shopping centers, medical facilities and hospitals should the need arise, although in emergencies helicopters are able to land on the property as well and there is a local airfield in close proximity

The peaceful mountains estate is being planned as a master estate with our appointed architects focusing on building homes and community spaces, schools and recreational facilities that are simple, sustainable and self sufficient and do not damage the natural environment or interfere with the animals on the reserve and their natural habits and breeding.
