Engineered chaos and the deeni importance of producing your own food

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Alhamdulillah with the Grace and Mercy of Allah ﷻ we have been blessed with Imaan and Islam. These are indeed the greatest bounties of Allah ﷻ that any human being can be given and no amount of shukr can come near to being sufficient for this favour of Allah ﷻ upon us. May Allah ﷻ keep us with Imaan and resurrect us amongst the people of Imaan on the day of Qiyamah.

An integral part of our Imaan is to believe in the ashraatus saa'at, those signs which will occur before the last hour, viz. the approach of Qiyamah, the day of Recompense, which represents the end of this testing ground which we know as 'dunya' and the beginning of the everlasting life of aakhira.

With every transition there is a period of great difficulty, upheaval and hardship and it is apparent from the ahadeeth that the last period on this earth will also be such a time of trials and tribulations. These trials and tribulations, which are known as fitan فتن in the arabic language (sing: فتنة) are both spiritual and physical in nature.

Spiritual fitan include atheism, liberalism, feminism, modernist ideologies, lgbt, evil scholars playing to the tune of those in power, misinterpretation of Quran and Hadeeth, cursing of the illustrious Sahaba (رضي الله عنهم ) and the early ulamaa by the later generations, widespread prevalence of interest, music, drinking, immoral dressing, sexual perversion and open zina, breaking of family ties, disobedience and disregard of parents while friends are honored, and the list goes on...

Physical fitan include fighting amongst ourselves, wars, famine, drought, social unrest, crime, corruption, pollution of air & water supplies, corruption of the soil and food production through sabotage, genetic modification and monoculture farming, spread of genetically modified diseases and forced vaccination, widespread haraam food and ingredients in the food supply and the list goes on...

These are only some of the fitan present already today and we have become so used to it that we only realise it when it is listed like this. Many of these fitans are now such that if you speak out or oppose them then you are at risk of being harmed physically or at the least ridiculed and shunned. In this zamaana those who speak the truth are degraded and the liar is honored.

Both these spiritual and physical fitan have been engineered in order to strip us of Imaan and A'maal-Saaliha, good actions.

It is an engineered chaos, planned from a very long time ago, from the beginning of insaan, the time of Adam عليه السلام and the use of the false oath by Shaytaan with the false promise of eternal life in jannah in order to deceive Adam عليه السلام and remove him from Jannah where he could then make an effort using the powers given to him by Allah, to try to take the rest of mankind into jahannam with him.

In this way the effort of shaytaan continued until this aakhir-e-zamaan where the ultimate fitna will be the use of Dajjaal for the same purpose.

In this zamaana, the chaos has been deliberately created, problems introduced all over the world, so that people worldwide are looking for a saviour, a solution, a 'messiah'. Someone who would come to solve all their problems. The intensity of the chaos and unrest, and the fear of death and poverty and hardship has increased to such an extent that people are ready to give up their rights, their ability to move and travel, their control over their bodies, their family relations, their children and eventually their imaan for a perceived solution. Covid was a test run.

Shaytaan's next step is presenting dajjaal as the messiah, the one who is going to solve all the problems, as long as you accept him as your ilaah, as long as you worship him, as long as you do whatever he says, as long as you follow his new order, his rules, his version of the deen, his version of the quraan, his version of the sunnah.

The yahood, in their distorted version of their books, are waiting for their 'messiah', to make them dominant in the world and solve their 'problems' and return aqsa to their control so that they can build their temple, their messiah is this dajjaal, whose system will be in place even before he comes, who they are preparing for with their new world order.

The christians are waiting for Isa عليه السلام who they think will make Christianity dominant in the world whereas he will actually return as a Muslim to kill that Dajjaal.

Before them Allah ﷻ will send Mahdi, who will lead the real beleivers against the fitan and those who will be oppressing Islam and Muslims in the last days. Before he comes there will be tremendous tribulations.

Our Nabi ﷺ warned us that this time of tribulations would come and gave us advice as to what to do in this zamaana, to protect ourselves and our families from the spiritual and physical fitan.

For our spiritual protection Nabi ﷺ informed us to hold fast to the Quran and the sunnah and the way of the Sahaba Kiraam رضي الله عنهم

This is done primarily by keeping the company of and following those muttaqee ulamaa that have studied in depth via an authentic سند, a chain that goes back all the way to Nabi ﷺ and are the upholders of the Quran, the sunnah and the way of the sahaba in their own personal lives and also in their rulings and advice. Not those who seek to modify the deen to suit their whims, desires and pocket, or those that play to the tune of the authorities and are happy to alter the deen to suit their masters or to keep with the 'modern times'. Not those who are chasing after celebrity status and getting involved in every type of 'new' avenue of fitna, using the tools of shaytaan under the guise and deception of making a service to the deen. No. And don't be unmindful also of the women who follow the ways of dajjaal, going around doing 'talks' in the name of Islam and female empowerment where all kinds of filth and lewdness and immoral acts are promoted, while the innocent women who attend are led to believe that because the speaker is an 'apa' then it must be okay. These are the big followers of the new dajjaali order who knowingly or unknowingly are leading muslims into the trap of losing their imaan and destroying their aakhirat.

The real muttaqee ulamaa are those who observe احتياط, are cautious in their deeni approach, who make an effort to avoid anything which can lead to haraam, who follow the traditional and established ways, who strive to go back to the way of sahaba and follow the sunnah in every matter, who don't seek name and fame, or chase after followers, fans and likes and are not afraid to speak the haqq even if it is bitter, because their concern is not for pleasing people, but only for pleasing Allah ﷻ.

They are the ones who are the lanterns of hidayat in the world and they are the معاذ, the place of refuge from the spiritual fitan that is enveloping the world. If you find such ulamaa then be close to them and take benefit from them, attend their majaalis and islaahi programs, their gatherings and listen to their talks, make mashwerah with them and follow their advices, but if the time ever comes, may Allah ﷻ prevent such a thing, that you find these ulamaa also wavering and starting to follow the modern ways, disregarding sunnah, meeting with fussaaq and fujjaar, mixing with women, appearing on tv and inclining towards the fitan then abandon them immediately and spend your remaining days in the dhikr and ibaadat of Allah ﷻ in seclusion.

But shaytaan will also use physical fitan to try to achieve his aim of taking your Imaan away and preventing you from a'maal. This is why it comes in the hadeeth:

بَادِرُوا بِالأَعْمَالِ فِتَنا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ. يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ فِيْهَا مُؤْمِناً وَيُمْسِي كَافِراً. أَوْ يُمْسِي مُؤْمِناً وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِراً. يَبِيعُ دِينَهُ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا

"Hasten towards the performing of good actions before the time comes when the fitnah will be like the dark portion of the night. A man will rise as a believer and retire at night as a disbeliever or retire at night as a believer and rise in the morning as a disbeliever. He will trade his deen for a paltry item of the world."

The time will come when it will be increasingly difficult to perform good deeds, the physical environment will be such that either a person will be so occupied in his needs of dunya or in securing his safety or in other matters that he will not have the time, opportunity or wealth to do additional a'maal, and eventually he will be in such a condition and difficulty that he may give up his deen to survive or he will be enticed to give up his deen for some gain of this world.

For this type of physical fitan there are only two ways out, to join the group that is fighting against the fitan or if you do not have access to that part of the world then to isolate yourself in the mountains and the places that have abundant water with your sheep and grazing animals and engage in farming, sufficing on the little that you are growing and rearing, taking the name of Allah ﷻ to acquire your rizq, living a self sufficient life.

This is indicated towards in the following hadeeth recorded in Bukhari:

قيل يا رسول الله أي الناس أفضل فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مؤمن يجاهد في سبيل الله بنفسه وماله قالوا ثم من قال مؤمن في شعب من الشعاب يتقي الله ويدع الناس من شره

It was said to the Prophet ﷺ: Who is the best of people? The Prophet ﷺ said: 'A believer who strives in the path of Allah ﷻ with his life and his wealth' they then asked who after that? The Prophet ﷺ said: 'A believer in a mountain pass from amongst the mountain passes who fears Allah ﷻ and saves the people from his evil'

But to suddenly transition to this when things become chaotic is very difficult if you have not started already, this is why it is important for muslims to prepare early by securing a place of safety, and to at least start producing their own food, now.

Contrary to misconception, this is not something against tawakkul, Nabi ﷻ himself encouraged us to do farming. It comes in one hadeeth:

إنْ قامَتِ الساعةُ وفي يدِ أحدِكمْ فَسِيلةٌ، فإنِ استطاعَ أنْ لا تقومَ حتى يَغرِسَها فلْيغرِسْهَا

"If the last hour arrives and you have in your hand a tree (that you are planting) then if you are able to not stand up until you have planted it, then plant it" (Adabul Mufrad of Imam Bukhari)

This hadeeth indicates the great benefit of planting trees and doing farming, emphasising that it should not be left even when the fitnah is so difficult that it is already the last hour. Meaning under all circumstances, if you have seed or saplings, and you can plant, which is the primary activity in farming, then make the effort to do so.

Umar (RA) also encouraged people to keep grazing animals and to do farming and sahaba رضي الله عنهم also had farms on the outskirts of the city and would engage in farming. Other ahadeeth mention the fadheelat of planting trees from which people will take the benefit of fruit and shade.

Making preparations and planning is from the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ and an integral part of our deen which demands that we trust in Allah ﷻ while making the necessary effort and also taking the proper precautions which are not in conflict with shariat.

As part of the effort of Shaytaan we have been made unaccustomed to the aspects of farm life, growing food, rearing animals and slaughtering our own animals for food. Even at the time of qurbani the trend is to send overseas or somewhere locally without being involved in the rites of Qurbani. This is a great tragedy as very few are there who still go to the farm or slaughter at home at the time of qurbani. In this way this little connection once a year that remained is also being lost and our children are at a total loss when it comes to understanding the amazing system that Allah ﷻ has put in place for the rizq of mankind.

This has made us totally dependant on the heavily commercialised method of receiving our food which can then be used to manipulate the masses into obeying the new order, the dajjali order, which if we do not comply with will mean detriment to these asbaab so as to force us to abandon deen should we still wish to integrate into the society.

Unfortunately the fitnah doesn't stop there, part of dajjaals given abilities will be that he will be able to make it rain, and the crops grow in large size and quantity for those who accept him and for those who do not there will be drought and crop losses. We can already see this system in place today with genetically modified seeds that give such crops that do not give seed again the next year, so that commercial farmers have to buy seed every year, we also see big corporate organisations buying up water rich properties and exploiting the water resources for profit. Those who want to do natural, heritage seed farming with access to water are being left with limited options, that is why we need to get up from our slumber and move fast to secure what we can now before its too late.

Those with intelligence can see the writing on the wall and which direction the world is headed, they will know that the solution is not to run to another country where the same fitan are present, albeit in another ratio. There may be very low crime and corruption in the places that people seek to migrate but then the spiritual fitan are multiplied a 100 times. I lived myself in one of the highly developed countries and saw with my own eyes the level of jahaalat with regards to deen, muslim children not knowing they need to do istinjaa and teenagers reading the kalimah for the first time in their life when they came out in jamaat with us. Its not greener on the other side, you have to make your own patch of green in a place where you have access to clean water, where you can grow food in a wholesome natural environment and rear animals and you can be secure and safe from the masses and far removed from the fitnah.

Many worldwide who don't have Islam are already thinking and moving in the direction of self sufficiency by homesteading and going off grid. We have to go one step further and develop our own self sufficient, off grid communities where our focus can be to slow down in our dunyaa preoccupation and exert in the ibaada of Allah ﷻ. May Allah give us all taufeeq to start doing this wherever we are ان شاء الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ . Aameen.
